Open Project

When we were first contacted about this job, heads turned and eyebrows frowned, showing clear confusion. After all, what does a court battle and lots of legal text have to do with us? Turns out the client wanted to transform all of it into something anyone could easily understand.

We gathered all the data, came up with a timeline, went after old documents and newspapers, online and in dusty archives and got to the desired result: a technical report that anyone could make sense of.

If there´s one thing we know how to do the right way, that is telling a story. We believe that creating rich content is one of the most effective ways to get to your audience, and a good source is always a nice starting point.

In this case, we had a lot of sources and a solid case to build on top of. What seemed like an awkward job turned out to be a very interesting way to think outside the box.

Although we had to make a technical report to fit the job description, the client asked us to try to “do it mildly”, in order to appeal to a broader audience.

With a very diverse crown in mind, we created a story that could be read as a novel, or told as a bedtime story in a way even a child would understand the key points.

We had to dig through more than a century of facts, in order to get the facts straight and set up a timeline.

We had to link each relevant fact the happened during the legal battle to its place in the timeline, in order to relate to the original causes.
